Zoomed uses a hydrated rock material that is twice as strong as cement or pumice. Hydrated rock material conducts heat more evenly. No hot spots! Water resistant element! Washable surface! Quality! CSA/TUV Approved! Please note that we suggest heat rocks only as a secondary heat source for most reptiles. A basking light, ceramic heat emitter or under tank heater is usually the ideal primary heat source for most reptiles.
